Common questions
Who is eligible to apply?
The Partner tier is designed for hardware reviewers, tech content creators, and PC enthusiasts with an established audience. To be eligible you need an active presence on at least one platform (YouTube, Twitch, Twitter/X, TikTok, a blog, etc.) with a minimum of 1,000 followers or subscribers, and active content in the last 90 days. Your content should be relevant to PC hardware, gaming, or tech. Applications are reviewed manually and we may ask for more details.
Do I need affiliate accounts before I apply?
Yes. Because the core value is using your own affiliate IDs on your Creator Page and in Caliper, you need active accounts with at least one of Amazon Associates or the Newegg affiliate program before applying. If you only have one, that is fine. We will not set up affiliate accounts on your behalf.
What does it cost to be a Partner?
It's $39/month, or $349/year (billed annually). Each subscription includes one seat. If you manage a team or channel with additional people submitting benchmarks, extra seats are available at $12/month each. Pricing is subject to change before launch.
What is a seat?
A seat is a user account with access. Most individual creators only need one seat. If you run a studio, a team channel, or have editors and co-reviewers who need their own logins to upload benchmarks and manage the Creator Page, each additional person needs their own seat.
What is included compared to the Pro tier?
Partners get everything in Pro (unlimited builds, multiple run sessions per benchmark, price tracking, advanced filtering) plus Creator Pages, your own affiliate IDs on all your content, Caliper Discord bot with custom affiliate IDs, API access to the product and benchmark catalog, and branded chart image exports.
How does the Creator Page work?
Your Creator Page lives at comparebench.com/yourusername and is publicly accessible. It shows your profile, your published benchmark results with methodology notes, and links to the products you have reviewed. Every affiliate link on your page uses your IDs. Your results are also surfaced on the relevant product pages across CompareBench, so your content reaches people who are researching hardware you have covered.
How do I apply?
Applications are not yet open. Join the CompareBench Discord and keep an eye on announcements. When applications open, you will be able to submit directly from your account settings.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the billing period. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days. If you cancel, your Creator Page will be taken down and your affiliate IDs will be removed from Caliper.
