For most people, you don't need to. The vast majority of what CompareBench offers — browsing products, uploading builds, running benchmarks, making comparisons, and sharing results — is completely free and always will be.
Paid plans exist for power users who want to go deeper: tracking performance across multiple builds, multiple benchmark runs per build, private builds, and a few other extras. If you're just here to share your specs or settle a debate with a friend, the Free plan covers you.
Yes! The Free plan has no time limit. You can upload a build, run benchmarks, and make comparisons without ever paying anything.
A Revision lets you track how your PC's performance changes over time as you upgrade components. Instead of creating an entirely new build, you create a Revision on your existing one so you can compare before and after.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page — click Manage Subscription and follow the steps. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds:
- Within 30 days — full refund, no questions asked. Monthly subscribers receive a refund of their most recent month. Annual subscribers receive a full refund of the annual charge.
- After 30 days — refunds are not issued automatically. Contact us and we'll review your case; if approved, you'll receive a prorated refund for unused time.
- Enthusiast plan — same policy: full refund within 30 days, contact us after that.
Examples:
- Monthly Professional, subscribed March 1st, cancelled March 15th — $10 full refund (within 30 days)
- Yearly Professional, subscribed March 1st ($60), cancelled within 30 days — $60 full refund
- Yearly Professional, subscribed March 1st ($60), cancelled June 15th — no automatic refund; contact support — if approved, $42.58 prorated refund (259 of 365 days remaining)
